In Tantra, the term Yoni is often associated with the concept of the cosmic womb or the source of all creation. It represents the raw, primordial energy from which life emerges, and a representation of the universal, creative energy that gives rise to all existence.
The inspiration for this motif comes from my journey to understanding my unconscious internalized misogyny and purging it from my system; and allow the divine to reveal herself within me.
Each piece is one of a kind, and created using castaway scraps of fabric rescued off sewing workshop floors. The sweatshirts are surplus pieces bought from factories.
